Made from 8 yards of fabric with regular, deep pleats at the rear
Pleated to the sett, some sizes in some tartans may not show an exact representation of the sett across the pleats

100% cotton lining for comfort when wearing
2 belt loops on rear of the kilt

3 leather straps to fasten kilt - 2 on the right hand side, 1 on the left

Straps allow kilt to expand by roughly 2" above stated size

I have had "proper" wool kilts for years, but wanted a budget kilt for an occasion, but it needed to still be good enough to go with my Prince Charlie and black tie. This item fitted the bill perfectly. Arrived in good time, appears well made and with no faults. Only time will tell how it lasts but for the two or three times a year I shall need it I think it will be fine. To all but the expert eye, would appear a regular wool kilt once being worn.
