Fly Plaids

A Fly Plaid is an added form of a pleated cloth in the same tartan as your kilt, and it is worn over the left shoulder and fastened in front with a Plaid Brooch. It is commonly worn for formal occasions such as weddings, dining and other celebrations.

Our Fly Plaids are hand made in the West Coast of Scotland by experienced kilt makers and include styles such as standard plaids, tasselled fringe plaids, and purled fringe plaids.
