Made from poly-viscose woven tartan cloth

Made from 8 yards of fabric with regular, deep pleats at the rear
Pleated to the sett, some sizes in some tartans may not show an exact representation of the sett across the pleats

100% cotton lining for comfort when wearing
2 belt loops on rear of the kilt

3 leather straps to fasten kilt - 2 on the right hand side, 1 on the left

Straps allow kilt to expand by roughly 2" above stated size

Bought the kilt not expecting much, however i was very surprised to find it a very good quality kilt. I very much appreciate the fact that it is machine washable, which comes in handy after a day out hiking or a night at the pub. Heavy enough to keep me warm in -6 C weather(could just be that i'm a tough one), yet not so heavy that I am too hot in warm weather. Looks very nice and construction is good. Would recomend this to anyone that doesn't want to spend the small fortune on an 8yd wool kilt but still want to look like a gentleman. (Posted on 26/12/2011)Product Rating
