Kilt Measuring Guide
Please note:
The length of your kilt drop will depend on how high you want to wear the kilt on your waist. If wearing a short jacket such as a Prince Charlie, you may want to have your kilt an inch or two longer so that it sits higher on your waist.
Where you wear the kilt on your waist is entirely up to you, and is down to personal preference. However, standard kilts should always be worn to the middle of the knee cap, while military kilts are worn a little shorter to the top of the knee cap.

Please note:
The difference between the inside and outside leg measurement will determine the height of the waistline of your trousers.
If you are wearing the trousers with a a short jacket such as a Prince Charlie, you may want to make your outside leg measurement a little longer to accommodate them being worn higher up on your waist.
