Royal Mail Strike Action

The CWU has announced that the 2 further days of national strike action due to take place on Friday 6th November and Monday 9th November have been cancelled. No further strikes are scheduled.

Five days of national strikes have already taken place during October which will have affected all Royal Mail services prior to, during and after those days.

You can find out the details of what functions are affected here.

Prior to and during strikes, we would recommend choosing a courier delivery method if your order is urgent. Royal Mail has stated that Special Delivery items will be delivered, but they may be affected.

It is likely that all couriers will face a large increase in volume during this period, therefore we strongly recommend that orders are placed as far in advance as possible.

Our founder Fergus Macdonald met with the CEO of the postal services regulator, PostComm, alongwith representatives of Royal Mail and TNT to discuss the situation. You can read more about this on our blog.
