Silver Sgian Dubhs

Meaning 'black dagger' in Gaelic, the sgian dubh is worn semi-concealed in the kilt hose. Originally worn in the top of the sock as part of 17th Century etiquette; it is now more commonly used for ceremonially cutting haggis or as the perfect way to complement your kilt outfit.

Our selection of silver sgian dubhs (or skian dhu, skeen doo or scian dubh) offers a wide range of choice for every style and budget. Please note that all our sgian dubh's comply with the Licensing of Knife Dealers Act 1st June 2010.
